Make capsule-shaped segments of carbon nanotube
inside longer nanotubes and you have ready-made nano motors. The nanotube capsules rapidly shuttle back and forth inside the nanotubes, and work at room temperature. The nanotube motors could be used as oscillators for sensors and communications devices and switches for high-capacity nanomechanical computer memory.
