Description:  The virtual robot "Arrow" (top image) was the result of hundreds of generations of simulated evolution. It served as the blueprint for the physical robot "Arrow" (bottom image), whose body was built automatically using a rapid prototyping system. Arrow could be the forerunner of a class of robots designed and built entirely by other machines.
